We love being in such an exciting Borough in London and think its about time we shout about some great areas we represent. Of course, many of these locations have pick-up points too, so as you're picking up your veg bag, how about having a nosey around at the other exciting spaces nearby.
This week we're all about Brilliant Brockley!
Let's start with Parlez eatery: one of our pick-ups and head of the Coulgate Street pedestrianised area, located outside Brockley train station. We have been working with Parlez for years and the best bit is... sometimes we get to come back for delicious food and drink! It is a hub in the community and continues to celebrate its neighbours - especially as last year's Borough of Culture!

Coulgate Street Closure
During the pandemic, part of Coulgate Street was closed off and used as a pedestrianised area, as well as opening up outside seating for the local cafes and restaurants. Since COVID, this closure has remained and it has brightened up the area - encouraging a bigger community atmosphere. Alongside Parlez, there's also Broca and Browns - two delicious independent cafes that are worth a try!

Brewery and Müll Club
Later on, how about trying Brockley Brewery for a delicious local brew whilst grabbing your veg bag at this pick-up! All beers are brewed on site and the venue is nice and compact, perfect for meeting new people. The brewery has also extended to a location in Hither green too, but we like the feel of the original space. Throughout January, the brewery is offering pints from £4 for their 'Hoppy Hour' offer, as well as hosting pop-up pizza from Pizza Shack every Thurs-Sat from 13th January... Check them out!

And finally, why not treat yourself to a plastic recycling workshop at Müll Club where you get to melt and form your own household item out of recycled plastic! Müll Club - formerly My Eco - is part zero waste refill shop and part plastic recycling space, selling lovely household goods, giving old plastic a new lease of life and reducing the impact of single use. How's that for a "new form of activism"!

Next time you're in Brockley picking up your veg bag - make sure you really take the time to enjoy all it has to offer!
