Today we would like to profile one of our pick up points in Brockley, the wonderful Parlez.
The founders were asked in a previous interview to explain their story and the ethos behind the business.
Parlez was started in 2016 by two mates from South London who shared a love of the great british pub, they wanted to epitomise what it meant to be a local in today’s London with its mix of ideas and cultures – simple food done well, good music tastefully chosen and a vibrant atmosphere shared with friends.
They love bringing people together through food, drink, music and friends to give the neighbourhood a place to belong. From the smiley faces when you walk through the door, to the colourful art on hanging on the walls, to the fresh food coming out of the kitchen – your eyes, ears and nose will experience a tickle. You can look forward to seasonal ingredients, yummy food, local suppliers and a well-sourced drinks menu.
Parlez enjoys an independent spirit and shares with the community. They are passionate about doing well by doing good. Relax in comfortable surroundings and feel at home. With a nod to the classic French bistro, love for live music, friendly service and homemade food, they’re a little bit of this and a little bit of that - surely everyone deserves a place to eat, rest, and play?
The next time that you pop in to collect your Lee Greens bag why not take some time out and stay for a drink or a bite to eat.
